FailSafe® Product Tiers
The FailSafe® suite offers three coverage tiers designed to meet the needs of technology companies:
- MEGA – Provides up to $2M in Technology Errors & Omissions coverage for clients with revenues of $5M or less. Available through SPECTRUM accounts in ICON.
- GIGA – A mono-line Technology E&O policy offering limits up to $10M with Breach of Warranty coverage included.
- TERA – The flagship option with up to $10M in limits across four coverage parts: Errors & Omissions, Content, Personal Injury, and Security.
Eligibility
A broad range of technology operations are eligible for these products. However, Hartford does not cover technology risks that present catastrophic Bodily Injury, Property Damage, or Economic Damage exposures, such as aircraft navigation products or stock exchange trading systems.

The application process is straightforward. For FailSafe Mega coverage, simply request it through ICON’s optional coverages during the quoting process. Premium indications are available during quoting, and underwriter approval is required before coverage binds.
