Coverage & Limit Updates for Museums and Cultural Institutions

All Access Insurance has partnered with Philadelphia Insurance Company to offer comprehensive policy addressing unique exposures for Museums and Cultural Institutions. The Institute of Museum and Library Services announced there are 35,144 museums in the U.S., more than double their 1990s estimate of 17,500.

In 2016, the insurance team developed a Fine Arts Collection form providing wall-to-wall coverage with flexibility for tailored enhancements. Two enhanced property forms were recently developed with additional coverages and higher limits.

Elite Property Enhancement Plus Form

  • Increased limits including Business Income to $500,000
  • Unlimited Period of Indemnity
  • Added coverages: Display Water Replacement, Preservation of Property Expenses, Animals/Birds/Fish, Historical Building Restoration, Fungus/Wet Rot/Dry Rot/Bacteria, Money and Securities, Computer Fraud, Employee Theft

Flexible Limit of Insurance Coverage Plus Form

  • Limit increased to $500,000 (previously $300,000) with limits up to $2M
  • Twelve additional coverages available at time of loss including: Outdoor Plants, Trees and Shrubs, Leasehold Interest, Employee Tools and Property, Historical Research Costs
